LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man under investigation for a December officer-involved shooting and carjacking in Louisville has now been indicted in connection with an October homicide in Jeffersontown.
According to Jeffersontown Police, 36-year-old Winthrop Taylor was indicted Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the shooting death of Airrice Clayton on Arbor Pointe Drive in October 2025.
JPD says Taylor was also indicted on charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, operating on a suspended license, criminal possession of a forged instrument, assault and wanton endangerment.
Taylor is also under investigation by LMPD in connection with an officer-involved shooting that began with a carjacking in December.
