A Kentucky woman is in custody after police intercepted a package addressed to her home that contained Lego pieces filled with OxyContin.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Authorities arrested a Kentucky woman after intercepting a package shipped to her residence that allegedly concealed OxyContin pills inside Lego pieces.

According to arrest documents, agents with the Department of Homeland Security at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport contacted police on Thursday, Feb. 5, after intercepting the suspicious package.

The shipment, sent from Poland and addressed to 41-year-old Amber Back of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, allegedly contained 100 OxyContin pills hidden inside Lego pieces.

Police delivered the package to Back’s home on Friday, Feb. 6. After she accepted it, officers detained her and transported her to the station for questioning.

Back told investigators that another woman had drugs shipped to her address and claimed she was not involved.

She allowed officers to search her phone, where they reportedly found messages discussing the sale of blue pills.

Investigators said Back also told them the other woman had multiple packages delivered to her home over the past year.

Back now faces a charge of trafficking a controlled substance.

Her bond is set at $5,000, and her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26.
