LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police arrested a local man on a charge of murder–domestic violence following an indictment by a Jefferson County Grand Jury.

Police took Brandon J. Hobbs, 42, into custody on February 5, 2026.

Hobbs appeared for arraignment in Jefferson Circuit Court before Judge Julie Kaelin, who set his bond at $200,000 cash. If he posts bond, Hobbs will be placed in the Home Incarceration Program.

The court ordered Hobbs to have no contact with the victims in the case, except as permitted by family court.

A bond hearing is scheduled for March 3, with a pretrial conference set for May 12.
