Man in custody after southwest Louisville stabbing leaves woman hospitalized, LMPD says

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A man was taken into custody Sunday night following a stabbing in southwest Louisville that sent a woman to the hospital, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded around 9:52 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, to a report of a stabbing in the 7300 block of Dunkirk Lane.

At the scene, first responders located a woman who had been stabbed in the hand. She was transported to UofL Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

LMPD said officers took a man into custody shortly after the incident in connection with the stabbing. Charges are pending.
