A Louisville man pleaded not guilty Friday to kidnapping, robbery, and additional charges after authorities said he posted a video online threatening people with a gun.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Court records state that 24-year-old Daquan Smith shared a video on his Facebook and Instagram accounts in September 2025 that showed him pointing a gun at three victims.
In the video, Smith allegedly ordered the victims to strip naked and told them to walk outside while threatening and kicking them.
Investigators also reported finding photos and videos on Smith’s social media accounts that showed him holding and firing guns, despite being prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.
During a court appearance Friday, a judge set Smith’s bond at $250,000 cash. He is scheduled to return to court at 9 a.m. on Feb. 6.
