LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested Thursday after allegedly fleeing from police and striking an officer with a bulldozer.

Louisville Metro Police went to Jacob Geary’s Pleasure Ridge Park home to serve a warrant, where officers found him inside a bulldozer, according to an arrest report.

Police said Geary refused to get out when officers arrived. When one officer attempted to open the door, Geary allegedly began spinning the equipment, striking both an officer and a nearby vehicle. LMPD said the officer was hit in the forehead, leaving a visible red mark.

Officers chased the bulldozer on foot before Geary eventually agreed to exit the equipment.

Geary was charged with evading police and assaulting a police officer. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Thursday morning, and a judge set his bond at $10,000.
