Police say they do not suspect foul play.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A child was found dead early Sunday morning inside a home in Louisville’s Newburg neighborhood.
LMPD officers were called to the 6100 block of Athens Drive around 9:20 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered an unconscious and unresponsive child believed to be four years old.
EMS crews attempted life-saving measures, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the death investigation pending the results of an autopsy.
Police say no foul play is suspected at this time.
