A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Dingess.
According to Mingo County Magistrate Court documents, WVSP Senior Trooper C.K. Johnson responded to Messenger Branch on November 17 after reports of a shooting. Statements from multiple witnesses indicated that 37-year-old Christopher R. Mills, of Inez, shot another man in the lower leg.
Mills was arraigned and faces charges of attempted murder as well as using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
