LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A suspect has been indicted in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Russell neighborhood in April.
Louisville Metro Police report that 24-year-old Andrew Jackson was indicted for the shooting that killed Wayne Woods Sr. at 2014 West Chestnut Street on April 13, 2025. DNA evidence led to Jackson’s indictment. He was already in custody for a separate homicide that occurred in May 2024.
Jackson faces charges of complicity to murder in the 2025 shooting. His arraignment is scheduled for December 15, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
