LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has been arrested in connection with a December shooting at a gas station in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood.

Jarrett Dennis, 36, faces assault and wanton endangerment charges. According to an arrest citation, Dennis shot the victim while they were pumping gas on the 2100 block of Duncan Street.

Investigators obtained a warrant to search Dennis’ residence and recovered five firearms, including one with casings matching the December shooting.

Dennis was also arrested last week in connection with a separate shooting on West Chestnut Street in October. The victims in both incidents survived.

Dennis is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
