A 38-year-old Louisville man has been indicted in connection with a deadly 2018 shooting in the city’s Parkland neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police said officers responded on Dec. 17, 2018, to South 27th and West Kentucky streets after receiving a report of a body found in the area. When they arrived, they discovered a man in his 20s who had been shot and killed.
Nearly seven years later, police announced Monday that a Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Steven Williams on charges including complicity to murder, complicity to robbery, and persistent felony offender stemming from the 2018 incident.
According to police, Williams was already being held at Metro Corrections on unrelated charges.
His bond is set at $100,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 24.
