A Scottsville woman was arrested Tuesday after law enforcement officials found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine and other drugs in her home, authorities said.
Members of the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, the Warren County Drug Task Force, and Kentucky State Police executed an arrest warrant at the home of 39-year-old Megan T. Sequeira on Old Port Oliver Road.
During the search, detectives seized 144 grams of suspected methamphetamine, additional narcotics, marijuana, U.S. currency, and items linked to drug trafficking.
Sequeira was taken into custody and booked into the Allen County Detention Center. Along with the outstanding warrant, she now faces multiple charges, including:
Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree
Persistent felony offender
Possession of marijuana
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
