Revved-Up Fun Coming to Manchester

Manchester, KY – Downtown Manchester is gearing up for an exciting celebration of horsepower, community, and family fun as the Appalachian Mountain Tour Car Show 2025 rolls into town on Friday, April 19th from 1–5 PM. This free community event, presented by Backroads of Appalachia in partnership with Freedom Ridge, Summit Racing Equipment, and Clay County, promises to be a high-octane afternoon for car enthusiasts and families alike.

Open to all vehicle types, the show will feature multiple trophy classes, live music, food vendors, giveaways, and more. Attendees can expect to see everything from custom classics to modern muscle cars and motorcycles lining the streets of downtown.

One of the day’s most anticipated attractions is the Power Wheels Drag Racing event for kids! Little racers will take the spotlight in a fun and safe competition complete with prizes. Helmets and shoes are required for all participants, and plenty of kid-friendly activities are planned to keep the young ones entertained throughout the day.

“This is more than just a car show — it’s a chance to bring the community together and showcase the pride we have in our region,” said event coordinator Mark Berry. “Whether you’re entering a vehicle or just coming to enjoy the sights and sounds, there’s something for everyone.”
