A woman was taken into custody after allegedly attacking a park ranger and a police officer in Miami Beach.
Karen Marie Burnap-Graney was accused of assault on a police officer and resistance without violence.
According to police, Burnap-Graney, 56, had an open beer container in front of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, in Miami Beach.
A park ranger instructed Burnap-Graney to take away the container before she allegedly spat on him, hit him in the arm, and kicked his legs.
Officers arrived and attempted to arrest the culprit but were unable to cuff her because her arms were in casts.
Burnap-Graney then allegedly attempted to bite an officer before getting hit in the face.
She was transported to the hospital and later to jail.
