LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a February shooting in Louisville that left another teenager injured.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the suspect was taken into custody Wednesday and now faces multiple charges, including:
- First-degree assault
- Receiving stolen property (automobile) over $10,000
- Tampering with physical evidence
- First-degree criminal mischief
Police said additional arrests related to the case are expected, and the investigation remains active.
The shooting happened on Feb. 18 in the 3500 block of Greenwood Avenue. Officers responded to the scene and found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to UofL Hospital, where he received treatment and survived.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
