Louisville Metro Police say 20-year-old Noraion Moore is facing several charges connected to a shooting that happened at Utah and Thornberry avenues on Sept. 30.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man already in a Louisville jail is now facing additional charges related to a shooting that occurred in September 2025.

According to Louisville Metro Police, 20-year-old Noraion Moore has been charged in connection with the shooting at Utah and Thornberry avenues on Sept. 30.

Police said the victim went to the hospital by private vehicle and is expected to survive.

Moore faces charges including assault, receiving stolen property valued at $10,000 or more, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and prohibited discharge of a firearm.

LMPD said Moore was already being held in jail for a separate incident.
