LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police made a second arrest Monday in connection with a shooting at a Louisville lounge that left four people injured.

A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody and charged with four counts of assault and possession of a handgun by a minor in the Jan. 4 shooting at Lenny’s Lounge, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Aaron Ellis.

Officers responded to what they described as a chaotic scene in the 3700 block of Klondike Lane at 5:32 a.m. on Jan. 4 in the city’s Klondike neighborhood. They found two young adults who had been shot.

Police said two additional victims transported themselves to local hospitals but were later rerouted to University of Louisville Hospital. The victims included three young adults between 18 and 21 years old and a 17-year-old.

Thirty-two-year-old Ezekiel C. Dean of Louisville faces assault charges in connection with the Jan. 4, 2026 shooting at Lenny’s Lounge in the Klondike neighborhood that injured four people.

At the time, police said one victim was in critical condition. Authorities have not provided an update on that person’s condition.

The teen’s arrest marks the second in the case. About two weeks after the shooting, Dean was arrested and charged with assault and possession of a handgun by a felon.

LMPD said Flock security cameras helped investigators locate Dean by linking a rental car at the scene to him.
