LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Louisville Field Division is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for an early morning burglary at a Louisville gun store.
According to the ATF, Everything Concealed Carry, a federally licensed firearms dealer located at 10306 Taylorsville Road, was burglarized Tuesday at about 5:33 a.m. Investigators said three suspects forced entry into the business and stole more than a dozen firearms. The suspects were using a stolen vehicle that had been reported stolen within the previous 24 hours.
The ATF Louisville Field Division is offering a reward of up to $5,000, with an additional reward of up to $5,000 provided by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the burglary.
The combined $10,000 reward is part of a national cooperative initiative between the ATF and the NSSF, under which the NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving firearm thefts from federally licensed retailers. The NSSF is the trade association for the firearms industry, and the ATF works closely with industry members to prevent the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
The burglary is being jointly investigated by the ATF Louisville Field Division and the Jeffersontown Police Department.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects. Surveillance photos released by the ATF are available on X.com through the @ATFLouisville account.
Anyone with information is asked to call 888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477) or email [email protected]. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by texting ATFLOU to 63975.
When providing information, officials ask that as many details as possible be included, along with contact information for those seeking a reward. Information must lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible to be eligible for the reward.
