NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Those hoping for snowfall may be disappointed, as snow chances continue to decline for Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Showers are expected Wednesday morning and afternoon, with temperatures staying well above freezing while moisture remains in the area. By the time colder air moves in, most of the moisture is expected to have already cleared out.
Only minimal accumulation is possible on the Plateau, where there is a 10% to 20% chance of seeing up to 1 inch of snow. In other areas, forecasters expect only a few flurries with no accumulation.
Snow projections for Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, indicate very limited snowfall overall, with the Plateau having the best — though still low — chance for measurable snow. Elsewhere, impacts are expected to be negligible.
Another weather system is forecast to move through the region this weekend, but it also appears to be lacking sufficient moisture to produce significant precipitation.
