LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police have arrested a man in connection with an October shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
On October 21, a man was shot in the thigh on West Chestnut Street and taken to UofL Hospital. A week later, LMPD released a surveillance photo of a person of interest in the case.
On November 26, authorities arrested 36-year-old Jarrett Dennis and charged him with second-degree assault. According to the arrest report, security video helped identify Dennis.
During a search of his home, officers recovered five guns, one of which matched a casing found at the scene.
Dennis is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
