LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Kennedy Bridge will be fully closed on select Friday nights and Saturday mornings over the next few weeks as crews continue replacing expansion joints.
According to officials, all southbound lanes will shut down just past Exit 1 to U.S. 31 South/Stansifer Avenue/10th Street in Jeffersonville. Drivers should use a detour via I-265 West to I-64 East to reconnect with I-65 South.

8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15

8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22

8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6
Crews will continue work on the bridge joint replacement project, with as many as seven additional overnight closures planned.
The right three lanes and right shoulder have been closed for several months and will remain off-limits through December.
Hall Contracting of Kentucky Inc. is overseeing the project, which is expected to be completed by next spring. Officials noted that weather conditions could impact the construction schedule.
