A man sitting in his driveway opened fire on three masked men who approached him with a handgun on Halloween, killing one of them and wounding the other two, investigators said.
According to Baltimore County Police, the incident occurred Saturday around 10:40 p.m. on the 10000 block of Greenside Drive in Cockeysville. Officers responded to a 911 call.
When police came, the man told them that three individuals in masks, one of whom was carrying a weapon, had just threatened him. The individual stated that he was on his driveway when the group approached. He then took out his own rifle and fired at them.
The three males fled, and the homeowner contacted 911 to report the incident, authorities said.
Officers investigating the scene discovered one of the males deceased a short distance away. He was recognized by police as Amon Walker, 20. Police said the two additional guys, both adults, were discovered after seeking treatment at local hospitals.
