14 people arrested in Mississippi firearm and drug trafficking investigation

The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated this week that 14 people were taken into custody in connection with a firearm and drug trafficking enterprise in North Mississippi.

According to ICE, the suspects were apprehended by HSI New Orleans special agents and Homeland Security Task Force partners.

The coordinated enforcement actions resulted from ongoing investigations into two drug trafficking organizations operating in North Mississippi and an investigation into the importation and distribution of Glock-type conversion devices.
