Kentucky-founded furniture store opening first Lexington location

A new family-owned furniture store founded in Kentucky is preparing to open in Lexington.

Furniture Fair will celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 10. The 82,000-square-foot store will occupy the Richmond Road location where Burke Furniture used to operate.

The company operates 13 locations across Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. The Richmond Road store will mark its first location in Lexington.

“We’re excited to officially become part of the Lexington community,” Craig Daniels, the marketing director for Furniture Fair, said. “We look forward to building relationships with local families, businesses, and community organizations and becoming a part of the community for many years to come.”
