A man was sentenced for his involvement in drug trafficking in the Dayton region.
According to the US Attorney’s Office, David Gullatte, 39, was indicted and convicted for narcotics trafficking in southern Ohio.
According to the attorney’s office, Gullatte allegedly transported substantial quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine from California to Ohio.
Law officials reported intercepting kilograms of cocaine being delivered to Gullatte, who allegedly purchased them from someone in California and then had them mailed to homes in Atlanta and Dayton before reselling them in southern Ohio.
According to the attorney’s office, on one occasion in 2020, Gullatte received a shipment of more than 20 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine while in Atlanta and then allegedly arranged for someone else to transfer the drugs to Dayton for resale.

According to the attorney’s office, Gullatte was charged with ongoing narcotics trafficking in March 2025.
