A woman detained during a 2019 raid in The Villages is in trouble again after a traffic stop in the Oakland Hills community with her man friend.
Amy Louise Sizemore, 49, of Lady Lake, was driving a black Ford pickup truck along County Road 109 at 2:30 p.m. Thursday when a Sumter County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
As the deputy approached the truck, Sizemore swiftly pulled into a property on County Road 109D-1.
When the deputy approached the vehicle and inquired why she had pulled into the driveway so abruptly, Sizemore revealed she did not have a valid driver’s license and was expecting to switch seats so her passenger could drive, according to the arrest report. A background check indicated that Sizemore, who was arrested in 2019 after a raid in the Village of Palo Alto uncovered a significant stash of guns and drugs, had eight prior Florida convictions for driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Sizemore was taken under arrest. During an inventory of the tow vehicle, officers discovered a silver spoon tip with a charred bottom and a white substance in front of the center console. The substance field tested positive for cocaine.
The deputy then questioned the backseat passenger, Ryan Morton-Carroll Kronengold, 49, of Summerfield. He gave the deputy a phony name and stated he didn’t know his Social Security number.
Suspicious of Kronengold’s identity, the deputy photographed him and submitted it to a detective. The detective put the photo through a law enforcement database, which positively identified Kronengold and found that he had open warrants out of Marion County.
Sizemore was booked into the Sumter County Detention Center on allegations of having drug equipment and driving while suspended. She has been released on a $1,500 bond.
Kronengold was accused with providing a false name to police enforcement. Marion County and the state of Iowa placed a hold on his custody, thus he is being held without bond.
