LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A wave of bomb threats reported across Kentucky has triggered an investigation by state police.
Kentucky State Police issued an alert saying multiple threats had targeted schools throughout the Commonwealth.
In the alert, KSP said it is working with local law enforcement agencies to trace the origin of the threats. Investigators believe the incidents may be connected to a robocalling campaign.
So far, officials have not found any of the threats to be credible. However, police emphasized that they are taking each report seriously and conducting thorough investigations.
WLKY contacted Jefferson County Public Schools, where officials confirmed that no schools in the district have received any threats.
