A few more storms expected Tuesday evening

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Following Monday’s severe weather, additional storms are set to move through the Tri-State area Tuesday afternoon and evening. While the overall severe threat is lower, a few storms could still produce large hail or damaging winds.

The best chance for stronger storms will be across western Kentucky between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Showers are expected to continue throughout the entire Tri-State region into early Wednesday morning.

Cooler air will settle in for the rest of the workweek, with daytime highs in the 60s and overnight lows in the 40s. Conditions will turn mostly dry after the storms move out early Wednesday.

The next chance for rain is expected early next week as temperatures climb back into the lower 70s.
