LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police took a teenage boy into custody after a stabbing Monday afternoon.

The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said the incident occurred in the 3000 block of Wedgewood Way just before 12:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound.

Emergency crews transported the victim to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.

Police said a 16-year-old boy involved in the incident was taken into custody.

LMPD said the investigation remains ongoing.
