AdventHealth Manchester Awards 2024–2025 Scholarships to Outstanding CCHS Seniors

AdventHealth Manchester has recognized a group of exceptional Clay County High School seniors for their academic achievements and dedication to careers in healthcare through its 2024–2025 scholarship program.

The Live Life Scholarship, a $1,000 award designated for students pursuing careers in the medical field, was presented to Taryn Blevins, Olivia Messer, Madelyn Smith (not pictured), Tayla Bowling, and Amanda Hinkle (not pictured). Recipients were selected for their strong academic performance and demonstrated commitment to health and wellness.

In addition, the Bert T. Combs Memorial Scholarship—also a $1,000 award named in honor of the former Kentucky governor—was presented to Taryn Blevins, Olivia Messer, Kara Hensley, Kaley Roberts, and Amanda Hinkle (not pictured).

AdventHealth Manchester’s executive leadership, including President and CEO Nick Bejarano, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer James Nelson, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anita Cornett, and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jesse Kleven, participated in the scholarship presentations.

These awards reflect AdventHealth’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ by investing in the future of healthcare and supporting the educational paths of students committed to service and healing.
