Fireworks, Family Fun and Festivities Set for Manchester’s 4th of July Celebration at Rawlings Stinson Park

July 01, 2025

(MANCHESTER, Ky.) – Clay County families can expect an explosive evening of fun and entertainment this Independence Day as the City of Manchester and the Manchester Tourism Commission host their annual 4th of July celebration at Rawlings Stinson Park.

Festivities kick off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4, and will feature a packed lineup of activities designed for all ages, including a mechanical bull, inflatables, train rides, balloon animals, and live music from a DJ. In addition to the entertainment, food and retail vendors will be set up throughout the park offering local eats, crafts, and patriotic merchandise.

The event culminates with a spectacular fireworks show at dark, lighting up the sky in red, white, and blue over the hills of Clay County.

Manchester Tourism Director Tim Parks says the event is about more than just fireworks—it’s about bringing the community together.

“We’re proud to host a safe, fun, family-friendly celebration that truly reflects the spirit of Manchester,” Parks said. “This event is something people of all ages look forward to, and it’s a great way to honor our country’s independence while also supporting local vendors and bringing neighbors together.”

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show comfortably.

With a strong mix of old-fashioned charm and high-energy activities, this year’s celebration promises to be a highlight of the summer in downtown Manchester.
