Falmouth Man Arrested for Public Intoxication Outside VOA Facility

MANCHESTER, Ky. — A Falmouth man was arrested Friday afternoon after causing a disturbance outside the Volunteers of America facility located along North Highway 421.
Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson reported that on June 28, 2025, Deputy Dustin Henson responded to a call from staff at the facility, who reported that a male subject had arrived on the property, was acting erratically, and refused to leave.
Upon arrival, Deputy Henson located the individual sitting near the mailbox in front of the facility. According to the deputy, the man was making erratic arm motions and speaking to himself.
When questioned, the subject claimed he lived at the facility and accused Deputy Henson of trespassing on his property. His behavior was described as belligerent and incoherent.
The individual was identified as Jimmy Hoskins, 29, of Falmouth. He was placed under arrest without incident.
Hoskins was charged with:
- Public Intoxication – Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
He was transported to the Clay County Detention Center. Authorities confirmed that Hoskins was not a resident of the facility, and no further incidents were reported.
