Eddie Smith

Eddie Smith, age 77 went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his home. He was born on Sunday, July 27, 1947 in London, Kentucky to Charles Edward and Reva (Edwards) Smith. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Horse Creek Holiness Church for 40 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of over 59 years: Lucille (Webb) Smith, his children: Thomas Herman Smith and his wife: Melissa Engel of Ohio and Teketta Stevens and her husband: Justin of Georgetown, Kentucky. Also surviving are his grandsons: Nathaniel Smith and his wife Megan, Tytus Whitehead and Tucker Whitehead. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Julie Jarvis, Bill Smith and his wife, Aretta, Jeanie Smith, Kenneth Smith and his wife, Billy Joyce, Doug Smith and his wife, Carla, Terry Smith and his wife Judy and Lois Hobbs and her husband, David.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles Edward and Reva Smith and his sisters: Brenda Sue Smith, Joyce Darnold and Renda Harris.

Funeral Services for Eddie Smith will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Terry Reed, John Wiley Sibert and Frankie Marcum will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
