Hiram “June Bug” Cornett, Jr.

Hiram “June Bug” Cornett, Jr., age 71, departed this life on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on Saturday, December 19, 1953 in Manchester, KY to Hiram Cornett, Sr. and Francis (Nolan) Cornett.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sisters: Evelyn Strunk, Mary-Bam Wilson, Lorna Cornett, Jane Dawes, Flora Jean Morgan, and Amanda Junett Ross.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Hiram Cornett, Sr. and Francis Cornett; his daughter: Bobbie Joe Cornett; and these brothers: Pryce Cornett, Arnold Cornett, Lewis Edward Cornett, Pearl Cornett, James Cornett and Alfred Cornett.

Funeral Services for Hiram Cornett, Jr. will be conducted on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Cornett will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Ulysses Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 after 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

The pallbearers will include: Randle Dawes, Samuel Cornett, Michael Felts, Hiram Makinley, Charles Strunk, and Buster Cornett
