Part 3: Six C's of Tourism

Hello friends. I hope Everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend. Mine was filled with golf and WrestleMania, which was hard to beat. Today, we will continue the six Cs of tourism. Today’s topic is community.
Travelers are now searching for authentic experiences that let them connect with local cultures, engage with communities, and dive into meaningful traditions. A recent survey from Virtuoso shows that 63% of luxury travelers prioritize immersive community experiences, which highlights a growing desire to build deeper connections with the places they explore. Whether sharing a meal with local families or getting hands-on with traditional crafts, these experiences go beyond mere exploration; they’re about forming genuine human connections and exchanging cultures.
As this demand increases, travel companies are creating itineraries promoting sustainable and socially responsible tourism. This new wave of luxury isn’t just about enjoying lavish settings; it’s about giving back to the places and people that make those destinations special. The emphasis on community transforms luxury travel, making it a more enriching and responsible experience.
Here in Manchester, we are super proud of our community. We are a unique group of Appalachian people for sure. Many travelers love our traditions and how we talk and communicate. We might as well take advantage of it! Much love, Manchester!!
A healthy Clay County requires great community news.
