Berlin Edward Goins

Berlin Edward Goins, 64, a loving and outgoing man, who never knew a stranger. He passed away on April 14, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born May 7, 1960, in Manchester, KY, to the late Charles and Lucille (Pence) Goins.
Berlin lived a full and memorable life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. He loved life as he had joy in his heart that was displayed by his witness for God and his work with teenagers through his teaching of Sunday School and work at Kentucky Baptist Homes for Children and as a Court Designed Worker. He will be so missed by his family and friends as he showed the positive each day in love, laughter and kindness.
Berlin is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Sandy (Smith) Goins of Rockholds, Kentucky, his daughter, Emily Dailey and her husband Adam of Rockholds, Kentuck; and three beloved grandchildren, Dalton Dailey, Lucy Dailey, and Huxley Dailey.
He also leaves behind his brothers, Lester Goins of Sharpsburg, Kentucky, Tommy Goins of Beattyville, Kentucky, and Cecil Goins and wife Mary of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; his father-in-law, Don Smith of Rockholds, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.
Berlin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille (Pence) Goins; his sisters, Sylvania Jones and Charlene Goins; and his mother-in-law, Mary Lee Smith.
Visitation for Berlin will be held on Friday, April 18, at 6:00 pm at the Croley Funeral Home, located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
The funeral service will be Saturday, April 19, at 11:00 am at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Jones, Rev. David Johnson and Rev. Roy Teague officiating.
Following the funeral service, a graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm at the Johnson Cemetery, located at Bear Branch Road, Rockholds, Kentucky.
Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Dailey, Dalton, Dailey, Cecil Goins, Roy Jones, Chad Young, and Quintin Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Huxley Dailey, Donnie Ross and Lewis Young.
