Donna Combs Mohn
April 02, 2025

Donna Combs Mohn was born on August 28th, 1963, in Oneida, Kentucky. She grew up on the family farm in Booneville KY. Where she really enjoyed hiking and nature. After getting her GED she moved to Morehead, KY, where she began passionately pursuing a career in cosmetology—a profession through which she touched many lives with her warmth, talent, and care.
During this time, Donna met the love of her life, Rich Mohn. They were married on a summer day in July of 1993 in Sevierville Tennessee. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter in Nicholasville, KY, where they shared their home with their beloved animals.
When she wasn’t managing multiple salons, Donna loved to take Rich to the lake, out dancing, or simply stay home watching her Kentucky Wildcats. Her joy was found in life’s simple pleasures and in the people she loved most.
Donna was baptized later in life but her faith, much like her kindness, was a quiet but steady presence in her life.
She will be remembered for her generous spirit, fierce love for her family, and the joy she brought into every room she entered.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Patsy Combs and a brother, Greg Combs.
