Fields wins with landslide victory

Haley Jo Fields is your new 41st Judicial Circuit Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Fields, running her first-ever political race this year, upset incumbent Gary Gregory in the May primary and more than doubled Democrat challenger Jake Roberts over the three-county circuit.

Fields says her total of 14,284 is overwhelming and appreciated.

“The support I have received is very overwhelming,” she said.  “I want to thank everyone who voted for me, and I appreciate it from my heart. 

Fields says running her first campaign has been a great learning experience and she is excited to get started in her new position.

5,576 ballots cast

Leslie County:

4,018 ballots cast

-Haley Jo Fields: 3,572

-Jake Roberts: 446

 

Clay County:

7,177 ballots cast

-Haley Jo Fields: 5,888

-Jake Roberts: 1,289
