Arvele Grubb

Arvele Grubb, age 86, of Dayton passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born October 25, 1937 in Brightshade, Clay County, Kentucky. He retired from Northridge Local School District after 33 years. Arvele is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jewell Evelene Grubb, children Russell Grubb, Cynthia (Joe) Reiling, and Beverly (Tony) Carroll; four grandchildren, Amberly (Ricky) Smith, Kevin Wright, Mallory (Patrick) Adams, and Anthony Carroll; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith, Wyatt Smith, Gracie Hughes, and Letti Adams; brother Carlos (Barbara) Grubb; sister, Wilma King; sister-in-law, Wilma Jean Grubb; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tinsley and Gladys Grubb; infant sisters, Layuna and Imogene Grubb; brother, Leon Grubb; brother and sister-in-law, Odell and Lois Grubb; brother, Albert Grubb; sister-in-law, Helen Grubb; brother-in-law, Edmon King; and father and mother-in-law, Lorenzo and Rosa Hill. A visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday October 5, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, with the funeral service starting at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Vandalia, Ohio.
