GLEN BEGLEY, JR., the husband of Mrs. Beverly Ann McIntosh Begley of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, and the son of the late Glen and Sophia Etta Mitchell Begley, was born in Clay County, Kentucky on April 9, 1943, and departed this life at his home in Crab Orchard on September 20, 2024, at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 11 days. Mr. Begley was a retired manufacturing quality inspector, an Army Vietnam veteran, a 21 year member of the Army Reserves, an avid guitar player who loved music, was a hard worker, and was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Crab Orchard.
In addition to his wife Beverly, Mr. Begley is survived by one son, Robert Begley and wife Kelly of Stanford, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Sophia and Kelsey Begley both of Stanford; his sister, Anita Drake and husband Ray of Beattyville; his aunt, Lorene Fox of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Begley was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Shelby Willman.
