MMF- 'Could be our best lineup ever'
“This could be our best schedule ever.” That’s the thought of Manchester Tourism director Tim Parks following the release of the Manchester Music Festival, which is coming up at the end of the month.
The Brothers Comatose is the headline act appearing on Saturday night.
“They’re a string band from San Franciso, California,” Parks said. “They’re known for their upbeat blend of American, folk, and bluegrass. Watching them makes you feel like you’re in a modern-day hoedown!”
Americana is the theme this year, and Uncle Lucius is the headline act for Friday night.
“They tap into the heart of Americana with their soulful blend of southern rock, country, and blues,” he said. “They’re from Austin, Texas, and I think you’ll enjoy them.”
The festival is slated for August 29-31, and only a few VIP passes remain if you’d like to participate in the VIP Party Pit directly in front of the stage.
Parks says you can find out more about the festival on their Facebook page, at manchestermusicfest.com, or the MMF preview edition coming in the August 21st edition of The Manchester Enterprise.
