KENTUCKY — A man was killed and another was injured in two separate shootings that happened just minutes apart Saturday night in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said the first shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Greenwood Avenue. Officers found a man inside a home with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital, and his injuries were not life-threatening.
Minutes later, officers responded to a second shooting in the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue. They found another man who had been shot, and he died at the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the two incidents and working to determine if the victims were connected.
