Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in a double murder that occurred at a Kroger store over Derby weekend.

Police say 28-year-old Reggie Raheem was taken into custody on two counts of murder connected to the May shooting at the Kroger on West Broadway. A Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted him on Nov. 18.

Around 2 a.m., MetroSafe received several 911 calls reporting gunfire in the parking lot of the Kroger at 28th Street and West Broadway. Officers say three people were shot, and two of the victims were taken to UofL Hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

Raheem is currently being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on murder charges.
