A 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting and assault that took place earlier this month at Shawnee Park.

Louisville Metro Police identified the suspect as Stevon Logan, who now faces two counts of assault and four counts of wanton endangerment related to the incident.

Court documents reveal that around 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 3, Logan got into a fight with two people at Shawnee Park. He reportedly walked to his car, retrieved a gun, and returned to the scene. Police said he struck one victim with the butt of the gun and shot the other in the stomach.

Both victims were transported to UofL Hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
