KENTUCKY — The Kentucky State Police (KSP) are asking for the public’s help to locate 11-year-old Addelyn Thornsberry, who disappeared Monday evening.
Troopers said Addelyn was last seen around 5:45 p.m. near her home. Her mother told police she was unable to track her using the Life360 app on her phone. At the time she went missing, Addelyn was wearing a pink shirt, blue pants, and white tennis shoes.
KSP officers, along with Robertson County Emergency Management, searched the area Monday night with the help of aircraft support as darkness fell and temperatures dropped.
Authorities later discovered that Addelyn had posted a video earlier that day, saying she planned to run away. Despite continued searches overnight, she has not been located and is now officially listed as missing in the National Crime Information Center.
Anyone with information about Addelyn’s whereabouts is urged to contact KSP Post 6 in Dry Ridge at (859) 428-1212 or reach out to local law enforcement immediately.
