CLARK COUNTY, IN – A Clark County man was arrested late Sunday after leading Clarksville Police and Indiana State Police on a high-speed motorcycle pursuit.
According to Indiana State Police, the chase began around 10:30 p.m. on September 28, 2025, after a restaurant patron reported a motorcyclist driving recklessly. The witness said the rider briefly lost control before speeding away.
A Clarksville officer later spotted the motorcycle traveling over 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Lewis and Clark Parkway. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the rider fled northbound on I-65.
State Trooper Austin Baylor joined the pursuit as the motorcycle entered I-265 and exited onto International Drive. Police said the rider weaved between lanes, drove into oncoming traffic, and continued at high speeds before stopping near Old Salem Road. The rider initially resisted arrest but was taken into custody.
The driver was identified as 51-year-old Adam Douglas Reed of Utica, Indiana. He faces multiple charges, including Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), OWI Endangerment, and Battery on Law Enforcement.
Reed was transported to the Clark County Jail. No injuries were reported.
