A 30-year-old Florida woman is now behind bars in Palm Beach County after deputies say she unleashed a flood of violent, threatening messages toward a former lover and his family when he tried to cut ties with her.
Jamie Nicolelee Kingston was arrested on September 30 and booked into the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center, according to jail records. She now faces felony charges of making written or electronic threats to kill or cause bodily harm, along with using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
A probable-cause affidavit from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reveals that a married West Palm Beach man came forward to report that he had previously carried on an affair with Kingston, whom he identified as an exotic dancer at a local club. Although the affair had ended, the two continued communicating until the man’s wife stepped in and demanded all contact stop.
The man told deputies that he cut off communication with Kingston on September 25, which sparked a heated exchange through the messaging app TextNow. Investigators say those messages rapidly escalated into explicit, chilling threats over the course of two days.
At around 7:51 a.m. on September 25, Kingston allegedly sent messages targeting the man’s wife, writing, “She needs to die” and “I will f,-ing slit her throat.”
Deputies say the threatening messages picked back up that evening around 7:00 p.m., with texts reading “SHES DONE,” “YOU JUST F,-ED UP,” “SAY BYE BYE TO YOUR LITTLE FAMILY,” and “ILL DESTROY YOUR LITTLE F,ING FREAK SHOW FAMILY.”
By the morning of September 26, Kingston’s threats shifted directly toward the man himself. At roughly 9:54 a.m., messages sent to his phone read, “Let me catch you in person. I’ll f,-ing rip you apart,” “Tread lightly you f,ing coward,” and “I want nothing but the worst for you if I see you in person, I’m f,ing killing you.”
Sheriff’s office investigators traced the TextNow number back to Kingston through prior department records. An investigator noted that Kingston had “frequently and recently used” that same phone number across several earlier law-enforcement reports, including one filed on September 25. Deputies also noted that the texts were self-identifying in nature, and the man confirmed he had communicated with Kingston exclusively through that number.
After completing their investigation, authorities secured an arrest warrant and took Kingston into custody on the evening of September 30. At her first court appearance on October 1, a judge set bond at $35,000 for the threat charge and $5,000 for the communications charge, and ordered her to have absolutely no contact with the victim.
Kingston remains held on a $40,000 bond and has a hearing scheduled for October 30.
