Three men were apprehended after a fight between two groups escalated and a gun was fired inside a parking garage, Orlando police said.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police officers responded to a reported shooting at the Liberty Parking Garage on E. Pine St.
Officers promptly stopped two vehicles as they attempted to exit the garage. An inquiry determined that a disagreement between two groups escalated into a physical brawl. During the confrontation, one person retrieved a pistol, which was discharged, police added.
Police stated no one was hit by gunshots.
Two firearms were seized during the inquiry. Three people were arrested:
- Michael Espinoza, 20, was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and reckless display of a firearm.
- Isaiah Seeraj, 20, was charged with hit-and-run with property damage.
- Charlie Lopez, 21, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted delinquent.
The investigation is underway.
