Three people were killed in an crash involving a car and a semi-truck on Interstate 94 late Friday night.
The crash occurred around 11:44 p.m. on July 3 on eastbound I-94 near Michigan Avenue.
According to Michigan State Police, a semi-truck stopped in traffic due to floods on the interstate when it was hit from behind by a passenger automobile.
Three occupants in the passenger automobile perished on the spot. The car’s surviving driver was taken into custody.
The crash investigation is still ongoing, according to authorities.
