A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting that took place last week in Halethorpe, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Deontay Studivant, 21, is accused of shooting and killing Damon Walker, 21, last Wednesday.
On May 6, about 12:20 a.m., cops were dispatched to a local hospital to assist with a gunshot victim.
When authorities arrived, they discovered Walker had walked into the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The following day, May 7, Walker was pronounced deceased.
Detectives said the gunshot happened in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle and was an isolated occurrence.
Studivant is being jailed without bail in the Baltimore County Detention Center.
